I’m looking through photos and and ordering albums from last summer and spring… and oh, I am I ever longing for warm weather, green trees, and soft summer evening light. Spring can’t come fast enough!

I was so honored to shoot this couple’s << B E A U T I F U L >> wedding In La Jolla last year! I have known the groom since he was missing his two front teeth and our family and friends have been rooting for this couple since the moment they met. They are such a perfect fit and I couldn’t be happier that the stars aligned and they found each other. They have the kind of love you wish upon your dearest friends. Furthermore, can we talk about their seriously perfect style? The whole wedding party (and especially the bride and groom) looked smashing and every detail was to die for. And those flowers… ! Top it off with a perfect blue sky and warm So-Cal weather and I’m in heaven.

I think a birth story post is loooong overdue- wouldn’t you say? I have so many beautiful births I’d love to share, but this poor little blog gets so neglected! I absoultely love shooting births and feel so grateful to have now shot nearly TWENTY of them, including 3 C-Sections.
This birth story was such a beautiful experience- of course, all births are beautiful, but baby Hudson’s was just picture perfect. Mama’s labor and delivery were so smooth (even if she did labor all through the night!) and the excitement this mom and dad felt meeting their first son was so tangible. Congratulations to such a beautiful family!

Laurel + Jordan: Las Vegas LDS Temple and Backyard Wedding
What a perfect day these two had! A sunny Las Vegas temple wedding and a STUNNING reception in the bride’s family home. I think you’ll find this is not your every day back yard wedding. Every detail was to die for. I also LOVED (really, really, really, loved!) shooting portraits inside the family home. I could do this all day every day! It was a pleasure as always to shoot with videographer Nate Pickett, who also flew out for the occasion, and having Mallory second shoot.
